Access Bank has just clinched the ‘ Best Overall Website ’ in the Banking Category of the 2017 Web Jurist Awards by Phillips Consulting . The Bank led on almost all parameters used to evaluate the winners. Access Bank ’ s points from the different categories summed up to a total of 315 , followed by Zenith Bank with a total rating of 303 points , while UBA took the third spot.
Access Bank ’ s claim of the top prize didn’ t come as a surprise to many within the financial sector , as the Bank has been regularly featured among the top 3 sites in Nigeria over the past 5 years . On the award received , Amaechi Okobi , Access Bank ’ s Group Head , Corporate Communications , stated that the new website was developed after listening to customers’ needs for better navigation - experience and usage .
